The North American Red Squirrels (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus) can be an extremely common squirrel in THE UNITED STATES.  It won't be combined with the Western european Red Squirrels that's just about the most frequent Eurasian squirrels.

North American Red Squirrels are located for most areas of america where conifers are routine.
